Cornwall

Cornwall is the most south-westerly county of England, 3,514 sq km in area. Cornwall has a very irregular coastline and is bounded by the sea, except to the east, where the county is separated from Devonshire by a border 36 miles in length. Much of the land is arable. People of Cornwall take advantage of the nice climate to grow early vegetables to be sold in industrial areas, especially the Midlands. Most of the population are to be found in coastal settlements, where fishing and tourism are the chief sources of income. The administrative centre and county offices are at the beautiful cathedral city of Truro and the county town is Bodmin.
